Humble Beginnings:

As a first-generation immigrant, my roots lie in Anaheim, CA, where I spent my formative years before completing high school in the San Fernando Valley—making me a proud Southern California native. My academic path began at Cypress Community College, where I was part of the Honors program, fostering a foundation of academic excellence and leadership. This experience paved the way for my transfer to UC Davis, where I pursued a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Human Development.

After earning my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Human Development, I returned to Los Angeles and joined the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in the Right of Way & Right of Way Engineering Division. But my ambition didn’t stop there.

Look at me now!

Today, I am working full-time as a Project Manager, managing complex multi-million dollar projects and collaborating with diverse governmental and private stakeholders, while simultaneously pursuing a graduate degree full-time—a testament to my dedication to human-centered research and design.

Recently, I took on an additional challenge as a Graduate Research Assistant, contributing to a groundbreaking study on driver behavior across different levels of automation, which was published by the Mineta Transportation Institute.

Beyond my professional and academic commitments, I continue to explore new frontiers in human factors, UX research, and ergonomics, striving to create safer and more intuitive experiences in transportation and technology. Every challenge I’ve faced has only fueled my passion to push forward and make a meaningful impact.
